Police, detectives in Albany agree on new contract

Police officers and detectives in the city of Albany have ratified a new contract.
The agreement provides them with a 2% raise for 2022.
It also includes retroactive raises for six previous years when salaries were determined by an arbitrator.
The city and the Police Benevolent Association will begin negotiating a contract for future years.
