Police investigating Lexington Ave shooting, 1 injured

Albany police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night on Lexington Avenue.

Police say around 10:40 p.m., Albany Med notified them that a 25-year-old man entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Through the investigation, it was determined that the victim was shot on Lexington Avenue near First Street.

The victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
