Police: No gun found inside Van Antwerp Middle School

NewsChannel 13 is learning more about why students and staff at Van Antwerp Middle School in the Niskayuna School District were evacuated Thursday.

Police were called to the school just before 3 p.m. for reports of a gun inside the school. Members from several law enforcement agencies swept the school after it was evacuated.

They say no gun was found, and the threat was not credible.

There is no word on who may have made the threat. Police say they are still investigating.
