ALBANY – While the Albany St. Patrick’s Day parade was postponed until next Saturday and the snow may have stopped some people from going out, there are still plenty of people who said they made plans to be downtown and weren’t changing them.

That meant even without the parade, St. Patrick’s Day celebrations went on at Albany bars, in the most “normal” year since the COVID pandemic.

The celebrations will continue next weekend when the postponed parade finally steps off.

Hear from some of the St. Patrick’s Day revelers as they talk about why it was so important to keep the celebrations going on Saturday by watching the video of Chris Onorato’s story.
