Program spreads Christmas cheer in Albany, Schenectady

The Random Santa Drop Off was held in the Capital Region on Friday.
William Rivas is the founder of Save Our Streets. He started this effort in Schenectady seven years ago to give people in need a reason to smile at Christmas. It was later expanded to Albany.
Rivas has a huge fan in the captain of the Union College hockey team, Josh Kosack.
Not only did Kosack help hand out gifts, he also raised money for the group.
