Public tours resume at Albany’s Cherry Hill Mansion after decade-long restoration

ALBANY – After a decade-long restoration project, the historic Cherry Hill Mansion is welcoming back visitors.

The historic site tells a story through the lives and experiences of the Van Rensselaer Family.

It was built in 1787 for Philip and Maria Van Rensselaer.

Cherry Hill was lived in until 1963.

The museum collection includes 70,000 artifacts and manuscripts.
