Push underway to make Saratoga Springs outdoor dining permanent
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Outdoor dining has become popular during the pandemic, and in Saratoga Springs it might be a part of the landscape after the pandemic.
New City Accounts Commissioner Dillon Moran is pushing a long-term plan to close some streets to cars on weekends during the spring and summer months.
Restaurants would be allowed to serve customers on sidewalks.
Moran says COVID made it a necessity, but it should continue even after COVID.

It would be Thursday through Saturday nights.
Learn about what streets would be affected, and hear what restaurants think of the plan, by watching the video of Mark Mulholland’s story.
