Easter is upon us and at the Albany Institute of History and Art they gave a live demonstration on how Ukrainian Easter eggs are made.
The decorated eggs are called pysanky and the designs are made by using a stylus and bees wax to create intricate designs on the egg.
The art institute held the free event Saturday, but it’s not too late to learn about the tradition. They will be hosting one more demonstration on April 23, the day before Orthodox Easter.
