Queensbury teen gets kidney transplant

Isabelle Perkett, the 17-year-old from Queensbury, received her kidney transplant this week and is doing well!

Perkett was living her best life until recently. Out of the blue, she found out she was in end stage renal failure.

The diagnosis caused her to spend 10 hours a day on dialysis. This was not ideal for an active teen who works at a hotel, loves to ski and hang out with her siblings.

We wish her a happy and healthy recovery.
