Donnelly was elected to the office of district attorney in 2018, and took office in January 2019.

She vowed to restore the public’s confidence in the office.

Donnelly has been listening, shaking hands, volunteering and asking them to trust that she will do her job.

She believes Wednesday’s sentencing of James White is a good step in that direction.
