Rensselaer man accused of attempted burglary at Guilderland CVS

GUILDERLAND – A Rensselaer man is under arrest, accused of attempted burglary.
Police responded to an alarm at CVS at 2040 Western Avenue in Guilderland just before 2:30 Friday morning.
Police saw 39-year-old John Whiteford at the back of the building.
After a short foot chase, he was arrested.
Whiteford was already on parole for burglary and is now in the county jail.
