Repairs planned for Glens Falls sinkhole

Sandford Street in Glens Falls will be closed on Thursday, for repair work on what the city is calling a major sinkhole.
The closure affects the area between Quaker Road and Uncas Street.
The sinkhole is located in front of the Sanford Street pumping station.
Residents of Windy Hill and Windy Ridge roads will be able to access their homes, but will have to enter and exit from the west or Ridge Street sides.
The repair should be done by Friday morning.
