Rotterdam man among victims in Thruway crash

The deadly crash Wednesday morning on the Thruway is still under investigation.
State police say 33-year-old Brian Harper of Rotterdam was killed after an Amazon delivery truck failed to stop when traffic slowed down during the busy commute.
Police have not yet released the name of the other person who died.
State police say there was a lot of debris and a hazmat spill that had to be cleaned after the crash.
Four other drivers were hurt. One is listed in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.
The driver of the Amazon truck was not hurt and was evaluated by state police. They say impairment does not seem to be a contributing factor in the crash.
