Saratoga Springs businesses are gearing up for the start of racing season

We are just days away from the start of racing season in Saratoga Springs.

Business owners in Saratoga Springs are expecting larger crowds this year. They are making preparations for the large crowds. And there’s a sense of optimism this year.

Dave Harmon is the owner of The Westside Sports Bar and Grill. He says they had a meeting with their staff to go over procedures. He believes people will be eager to come this season because many couldn’t come last year. He says his staff will be ready.

Maddy Zanetti is one of the co-owners of Impressions of Saratoga. She says they have extended their hours for the season and have hired more staff. She says they gave their employees a tour of the area, so they can give visitors information regarding restaurants and parking.

Business owners believe this year will be important because many people couldn’t come last year due to the pandemic.
