An entrepreneur from Saratoga County is helping local farmers, parents and kids at the same time.

Jennifer Lefner has launched Seedlings Baby Food.

The pediatrician, neonatologist and mom works with local farm partners throughout the region to create cuisine for little ones.
Whether you’re in the market for purées for first eaters or products with a bit more texture and flavor – Seedlings is serving up healthy food options.

"We really source locally from farms that are either vetted through our first farm partner Nine Miles East, or that we have partnered with ourselves, including Featherbed Lane Farm out in Galway," said Lefner.

She says she’s looking forward to sourcing more produce from Featherbed Lane after it supplied Seedlings with beets and Adirondack Blue potatoes this winter.
