Saratoga Springs police, firefighters help deliver toys
An organization that brings Christmas to Saratoga County children got some help from police and firefighters on Monday.
It starts with a little friendly on-ice competition between police and firefighters, and it results in kids opening presents on Christmas morning.

They played a game at Weibel Avenue rink back on November 20. The admission price to the game between the Saratoga Springs firefighters and police officers was a new, unwrapped toy.
The spectators brought hundreds of them, and entered raffles to raise money for the Franklin Community Center. The center has requests to give Christmas to 725 children in need this year, and the donations delivered by police cars and firetrucks will help make it happen.
Firefighters and police officers also held raffles at the game and also presented about $1,000 to Franklin Community Center.
