Saratoga Springs seeks more public safety dispatchers
Saratoga Springs is putting out the call for public safety dispatchers.
A test is being offered this month for dispatchers. As of Monday, they had less than a third of the candidates they typically have.
Saratoga Springs currently has 10 people who are public safety dispatchers, taking calls for help and making sure it gets to where and when it’s needed. They need two more right away and expect to need more in the future.
The civil service test to become a dispatcher is scheduled for January 22, but you have to sign up by next Monday, January 10.
The starting pay is just under $47,000.
