Schenectady City School District welcomes 100 new teachers, staff

SCHENECTADY – Most students in the K-12 grades will be back in school next week. Schenectady City School District is welcoming nearly 100 new staff members.

Newly hired staff includes teachers, psychologists, counselors and social workers.

A three-day orientation kicked off at Key Hall at Proctors on Monday.

You may recall, the district had to lay off dozens of teachers and staff during the pandemic.
