Schenectady gift shop prepares for big move

SCHENECTADY – A unique gift shop is about to get a new home in downtown Schenectady.
Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery is currently located at 107 State Street in Schenectady, but will be moving to Jay Street – located in the heart of downtown – the first week of May.
In addition to original artwork, the colorful, cozy shop features affordable art prints, useful and amusing housewares, art supplies and more.
It’s a must-visit when shopping for Mother’s Day, birthdays, graduation or for those "treat yourself" moments. The shop is unique to the area with its focus on illustration and representational artwork.
