Schenectady man admits to sex with 15-year-old girl

A Schenectady man’s expected to spend seven years behind bars, after pleading guilty Friday to having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
A six-count indictment alleges 33-year-old Corey Sheroka conducted in crimes including rape, forcible touching, and sharing indecent materials of a minor.
The Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office says the investigation began when the victim’s teacher noticed concerning text messages on the child’s phone, and contacted police.
Sheroka is scheduled to be sentenced to seven years in prison with 10 years of parole.
