Schenectady man gets 22 years in prison for manslaughter

A Schenectady man is headed to state prison for 22 years after pleading guilty to manslaughter.

Marlone Oindo was sentenced Monday in Schenectady County Court.

He shot and killed 27-year-old Duane Todman at point-blank range on May 23, 2020.

Todman was a local artist who had just won a scholarship to study in Boston.

He did not know his killer, who ran off after opening fire.
