Schenectady man sentenced to 15 years for 2019 assault with box cutter

A Schenectady man will spend 15 years behind bars, after he was convicted of assault, attempted assault, and weapons possession.
Back in October of 2019, Justin Walker used a box cutter to slash the face and neck of a woman he claims sold him fake drugs.
He changed his clothes and tried to disguise his face before the attack.
At his sentencing Friday, he blamed family dysfunction in his childhood.
