Schenectady is one of the "Smart Cities" in the United States. It’s one of the finalists in IDC Government Insights’ 5th Annual Awards.
The awards recognize the progress municipalities made executing "Smart Cities" projects.
The cities are recognized for effectively using technology and innovation to meet the needs of residents.
Winners will be honored next month.
