Schenectady prepares for return of annual holiday parade

SCHENECTADY – This year’s Schenectady Holiday Parade is back on.
The parade is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. on Nov. 20.
The theme of the parade is "Superheroes."
Rodelin Sumiran has been named grand marshal of the 2021 parade. He is known to many as "Rodel" and was voted as the 2021 Nurse of the Year.
The parade is hosted by the Daily Gazette, The Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, and the city of Schenectady.
