Schenectady woman accused of pointing gun at school bus

SCHENECTADY – A woman has been arrested, after allegedly waving a gun near a school bus.

It happened just before 8:30 Thursday morning, in the area of Barney and Close streets.

Police got a report of a woman waving a gun around, and pointing it at a school bus.

Shenequa Neal was found in a home nearby.

Police say she admitted it was her, but refused to come outside.

She later allegedly threw an assault-style air gun and imitation handgun out of the window.

She was arrested, and arraigned on several charges.

The bus had a driver, monitor and two 14-year-old students on it at the time. No one was hurt.
