School leader, health professional on talking with kids about Texas shooting
School staff in many cases are trying to figure out how to talk to students about the tragic elementary school shooting in Texas.

NewsChannel 13 visited the Charlton School in Burnt Hills on Wednesday. It’s a residential therapeutic school, helping girls struggling with mental health – with things like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder.
The school leader, Alex Capo, is also a licensed mental health counselor.
Capo says when national tragedies like the Texas school shooting happen, they let the students take the lead on how and when to talk about it.
