Self-described white nationalist pleads not guilty to hate crime charges in Bennington

A self-described white nationalist from Bennington, Vermont was back in court on Monday.

Max Misch pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct as a hate crime.

According to the Bennington Banner, Misch is accused of getting into an argument with a woman in June after he reportedly used a racial slur against her black son.

Misch remains free despite facing multiple charges dating back to February 2019, including illegal possession of a weapon.
