The Shenendehowa girls basketball team held off multiple runs by a shorthanded Averill Park squad to win a battle of state-ranked teams 66-50 on Friday night. NewsChannel 13 all-star Amelia Wood had a game-high 22 points for Averill Park while Kaleigh Montanez came up huge in the 4th quarter for the Plainsmen on the way to a team-high 21. Jillian Huerter added 18 for Shen in the victory.
