A search along the Housatonic River in the Berkshires was in connection to a missing person from Connecticut.

The search went on for days in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Some suspected it could be related to the disappearance of Shaker High teacher Meghan Marohn, but several sources had said it was not.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle report the agents were looking for a body, but they didn’t find anything.

The Eagle cites sources confirming the body was a person who either lived in Danbury, Connecticut, or died there.

NewsChannel 13 reached out to the FBI. The response we just got says there is no new information. The agency said last week the public was not in danger.
