SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Kids in South Glens Falls have a new place to go after school. It’s called The Bulldog Zone, named after the school mascot.

It was started by motivated South Glens Falls High School Seniors who want to improve their community.

Every Tuesday after school, you’ll find kids playing foosball, corn hole, or video games.

All South Glens Falls Middle and High School Students are welcome there. There are trusted adults, food and even help with homework.

It was the idea of three South High Seniors, Becca Dawson, Meara LeFevre and Vanessa Jorgensen.

They all grew up here and say the community needed a safe place for kids to go after school, so they made it happen. Working with the community coalition for family wellness and the Moreau Community Center, they opened The Bulldog Zone.
