State Police involved shooting

State Police are investigating a trooper-involved shooting in the village of Dolgeville, in Herkimer County.
Investigators say 24-year-old Carson Dobson broke into a home Friday afternoon and stabbed someone several times.
When troopers caught up with him a short time later they say Dobson threatened them with a knife.
Dobson was shot and killed.
His victim is being treated at a hospital and is expected to survive.
