State police stepping up patrols this weekend

The New York State Police is increasing patrols and cracking down on drunk and drugged driving this 4th of July weekend.
State troopers will conduct sobriety checkpoints and target reckless and aggressive driving statewide in an effort to keep New York highways safe.
The campaign begins Friday and runs through Monday.
