Albany County reports 204 new COVID cases; 1 new death

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says a man in his 80s has died from COVID.

McCoy says this is the sixth consecutive day he’s reported at least one new COVID death.

It brings the county’s death toll to 456 since the pandemic began.

There are 204 new positive cases in the county.

The county’s five-day average of new cases is 173.

The seven-day average of percent positive rate is now down to 6.3%.
