Our pets put on the pounds during quarantine.

In fact, a new study from Pumpkin Pet Insurance and dog tech company Fi finds 36% of dogs gained weight while being stuck at home during COVID-19.

Researchers found that 45% of the pandemic pet owners fed their dogs extra treats during quarantine.

The study also found 41% said they gave them extra food from their own meals.

Dogs also seemed to take after their owners, with 56% of people saying their pups gained weight when they did, and 66% became more active when their human helpers also were.
