Study: Healthcare workers with COVID likely exposed at work

New research finds healthcare workers who were diagnosed with COVID-19 were most likely exposed in the workplace.
The Centers for Disease Control study found during periods of high community spread of COVID, approximately two-thirds of healthcare workers with COVID reported exposure on the job.
The report finds workers were either exposed to patients with COVID or other colleagues with the virus.
The author of the study says the results emphasize the continued need for improved infection prevention and control measures in occupational settings.
