Study: Marriage may extend your life
Tying the knot is tied to a longer life span. That’s according to researchers at the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics.
They looked at death rates by marital status between 2010 and 2017.
Rates for married people aged 25 and over went down 7%.
Experts say these new findings are consistent with prior research showing a mortality advantage for married adults compared with unmarried adults.
