Sunmark FCU donates $2,500 to several charitable causes

Sunmark Federal Credit Union is handing out big money to local organizations.

To celebrate "International Credit Union Day," Sunmark donated $2,500 each to Hoods House of Hoops in Albany, Our Community Cares in Chatham and Mission Accomplished Transition Services in Albany.

The credit union’s charitable foundation handed out its community service leader award to Kelly Stevens with the group Food For Thought.

Her group provides school snacks to students in the North Country.
