Teen accused of threatening to bring gun to Colonie school

A threat at the Maywood School on Central Avenue in Colonie is under investigation.

Police say a 16-year-old boy threatened to bring a gun to school and start shooting.

The teenager is charged with making a terroristic threat – which is a felony.

His name is not being released, but police do say he’s been charged with robbery in the past.

Maywood School is part of Capital Region BOCES.
