Tractor-trailer driver unharmed in Glenmont rollover

A section of Route 144 in Albany County was closed for a time on Tuesday after a crash.

A tractor-trailer rolled over around 7:45 a.m. in Glenmont, in the area of Corning Hill Road.

"What we can see with the tire tracks in the snow is that – not sure how he negotiated the turn – but it seemed the trailer went off the road first, and then eventually after that, the tractor went off and then tipped him over on his side." said Chief Joe Michaniw, with the Selkirk Fire Department.

The fire chief says the driver crashed into some trees, but is unharmed. He was able to walk away.
