Trial beings in deadly 2020 Schenectady County crash

The trial is underway against a man accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a woman in Rotterdam.
Oscar Lopez is accused in the deadly drinking and driving crash back in 2020.
Police say Lopez crashed his truck into an SUV driven by 33-year-old Amanda Slavens. She died at the scene.
Lopez was also injured in the crash.
A bench trial is now underway, where the judge will decide his fate without a jury.
