Troy man admits to deadly 2021 Albany shooting

A Troy man has pleaded guilty in a deadly 2021 shooting.

Jhajuan Sabb, 22, pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter and one count of attempted assault in Albany County Court on Tuesday.

On May 21, 2021, Sabb fired a handgun at a group of people near 498 First Street in Albany. One person died, four others were injured.

Sabb faces 35 years in prison when he is sentenced on August 19.
