Troy planned power outage pushed back one week due to cold weather

TROY – A planned power outage for Saturday in Troy has been moved due to the cold weather.

The outage was scheduled for January 22 from 8 to 10 a.m. Instead, it will now be done on January 29.

After calls from both the city of Troy, and NewsChannel 13 to National Grid, the outage has been postponed.

Around 1,000 customers will be affected on portions of Congress Street, Pawling Avenue, Pinewoods Avenue and various side streets.
