U-Haul making progress on transforming old Menands building

MENANDS – U-Haul is making progress on the reconstruction of an old press building in Menands.
The company purchased the building in 2017 and plans on turning it into a self-storage and truck rental site.
Officials say total completion is a few years out, but they plan on opening a portion soon for rentals.
Located on Broadway, the building was vacant for 20 years before U-Haul bought it.
