UAlbany delaying start of spring semester

UAlbany is delaying the start of their spring semester.

Classes will now begin on Jan. 24, instead of the original date of Jan. 19.

The school says this will give students more time to get a negative COVID test and a booster.

Residence halls will reopen on Friday, Jan. 21 at 9 a.m.

Spring break and Reading Day will not change.

The spring semester will end May 4, with final exams on May 6.
