UAlbany professor reimagining organic waste disposal

Friday, February 11, marked the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Yanna Liang is a professor at UAlbany.

She teaches environmental and sustainable engineering.

She is re-imagining how organic waste is used and disposed of.

She’ll then try to provide solutions to local communities.

Funding for the $3.4 million project is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy.
