Union names Guilderland grad Katie Marcella new women’s basketball coach

Guilderland graduate Katie Marcella has been named the new head women’s basketball coach at Union College. Marcella takes over for Mary Ellen Burt, who is the all-time winningest coach in program history after 26 seasons. Marcella spent the last six seasons at Harwick where she led the Hawks to a 71-58 record.
