Vacant Troy apartment buildings set for demolition
TROY – The city of Troy says it plans to demolish the Taylor Apartments on River Street.
It’s part of a project to revitalize the city’s waterfront, and improve the gateway around the Congress Street Bridge and Route 2 corridor.
The buildings were originally built in 1954, and have been vacant since 2005.
The demolition will be funded by American Rescue Plan Funds.
