Vermont COVID-19 cases spiking in Rutland and Bennington

Vermont is reporting its highest number of hospitalizations from COVID since the start of the pandemic.

As of yesterday, a total of 84 people were hospitalized, with 22 in intensive care. Health commissioner

Dr. Mark Levine says about half of the hospitalizations are in Rutland and Bennington. Dr. Levine says people in those areas who are feeling COVID-19 symptoms should talk with their doctor about monoclonal antibody treatment, which can reduce the chances of ending up in the hospital.
