Vermont nears 80% vaccination goal for full reopening
Vermont is slowly but surely inching closer to its goal of having 80% of eligible Vermonters vaccinated.
Right now, 79.6% have been vaccinated. That means just a little more than 2,000 people need to get vaccinated to reach that 80% benchmark.
The governor has said when they do reach it, the state will lift all remaining COVID restrictions the same day it happens.
