Vermont’s Killington Ski Resort opens for the season

The Killington Ski Resort in Vermont opened for the season on Friday.

It’s the first eastern resort to open for skiing and snowboarding this year.

The mountain was open to just pass holders on Friday. It will open to the general public on Saturday.

Then on Thanksgiving weekend, Killington will host races as part of the Women’s World Cup tour.
